I'm Stefan Kummerlöw, a Berlin-based UI/UX designer and frontend developer with over 16 years of experience building digital products and audio software interfaces across the DACH region and beyond. I work end-to-end: design, frontend, and workflow automation, for founders and product leads who need one person to own the whole thing without agency overhead or a designer-to-developer handoff. I understand the brief, question it when needed, and ship.
Before establishing my independent practice in 2023, I spent five years at Native Instruments in Berlin. First as a Senior Graphic Designer in marketing, supporting 12+ product launches a year, then as a Senior UI Designer in Products, where I designed the user interfaces for major commercial instruments including Schema: Dark, Vocal Colors, and Fables. I build interfaces in production-ready frontend code (React, Next.js, HTML/CSS), integrating AI models and automation directly into research, prototyping, and implementation.
